Welcome to “Mountain Escape”, our Dillon, CO lakefront vacation rental condo in the heart of Summit County (Ski country USA!)

Timberline condos are some of the largest and most spacious 2 bedroom units we found when looking for a vacation rental property to purchase in Dillon. At just under 1300 square feet, this unit has plenty of room for you to spread out and relax! Additionally, this is a top floor end unit, which means that there is only one shared wall with a neighbor and the ceilings are vaulted which expands the spacious feeling of the unit.

After we purchased this property in 2012 we embarked on an extensive renovation,
gutting the entire unit and rebuilding it from the bottom up!

We re-designed the kitchen floor-plan from the original galley style to a larger plan that includes an impressive 7 foot island. The counters are made of beautiful solid granite. This custom kitchen is equipped with new stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, microwave & oven.) The sink & dishwasher are located in the island. You will enjoy preparing your meals in this brand-new, well-stocked kitchen!

Condo 1298 sq. ft.2 Bedroom 2 Bath Sleeps 4 Min Stay: 3 – 7 nights

PERFECT FOR TWO COUPLES TRAVELING TOGETHER

Our condo possesses two large bedrooms, each featuring a king-sized bed with cozy bedding and linens. The master bedroom is outfitted with a gorgeous natural wood king sized bed with matching nightstands and dresser. The second bedroom features a king-sized black iron bed with rustic nightstands and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have flat-paneled TVs with cable service for you to enjoy your favorite TV shows from the comfort of your bed!

NOTE: The maximum occupancy for our condo is four people. We cannot accommodate more than four people, even on air mattresses or sleeping bags. Additional fees may be incurred if your party exceeds the maximum occupancy as per our rental contract.

There are two newly remodeled bathrooms to enjoy in this condo. The largest is connected to the master bedroom, but is also accessible through the hallway. The beautiful hickory vanity is equipped with double sinks. And because Timberline does not have a public hot tub, we made sure we included luxury features in this bathroom such as a brand new Jacuzzi (whirlpool) tub as well as a new state-of-the art steam shower. (Wouldn’t you rather luxuriate in your own well-maintained and private Jacuzzi bath or steam shower than share a public one with strangers? We thought so!)

The second bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. This bathroom is also fitted with double sinks in a hickory vanity and has a shower. The entire room sports beautiful new tile.

The main living area is an open and airy space that incorporates the kitchen, dining area and living area and is capped by soaring vaulted ceilings. Relax on the comfortable leather sofa in the living area and watch a movie or your favorite TV show on the large 50-inch flat screen HD TV. (An upgraded HD package is available in this room.) Or enjoy the convenience of a cozy fire in the fireplace with a flick of the switch, and settle in with a glass of wine and a good book.

WHAT THIS CONDO HAS THAT MOST DO NOT: SPACIOUS BALCONY & MILLION $$ VIEW!

But I’ve saved the best for last! Because through the two brand new 8 foot patio doors is the most breath-taking view you have ever seen! Our spacious deck and the view it provides is the crowning jewel of this unit and is the primary reason why we purchased this condo. Despite all of the work that needed to be done to update the condo, we couldn’t forget the majestic views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range that this unit provides. You will be drawn again and again to enjoy the sight of the merry sailboats on the lake in the summer time or the kite-boarders on the ice in the winter time. Enjoy your meals al fresco on the bar-height iron patio table & chairs, or sit and converse on the comfortable Thomasville patio set. There is a gas grill available on the deck.

YOUR HEALTH IS OUR CONCERN

Our condo is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Our housekeeping service uses CDC approved antibacterial cleansing agents and focuses on frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, deadbolts, remote controls, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.

We would welcome your reservation if:

•You are over the age of 25 years & are willing to provide a copy of your valid ID

•You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed

•You are not a smoker

•You do not want to bring a pet

•Your party does not consist of more than 4 people

 

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation Fee (charged for every cancellation): $100.00 + tax

– Up to 60 days before arrival, guest receives 100% (less the taxable cancellation fee);

– Up to 30 days before arrival, guest receives 50% (less the taxable cancellation fee);

– No refunds within 30 days.

NOTE: Timberline Association rules prohibit smoking anywhere on the premises (inside or out.). Sorry, this is a condo association rule and must be enforced!

NOTE: We only accept short term rental, up to a maximum of two weeks. Please do not inquire for long term rentals…..thanks.

VRBO Bear Stay review

The VRBO Bear, decided to bring Mrs. VRBO Bear to this amazing Lake Dillon condo, and wow what a truly fantastic time! Such an amazing view! Right on the shore of Lake Dillon, we enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the frozen lake after returning from a long day of skiing. Then, the Jacuzzi tub was the perfect way to unwind and relax those sore legs before enjoying the fireplace while making dinner. And at the end of the evening, the king size beds made for some very sound sleep. We found that all amenities were there and then some, along with nice attention to detail throughout the unit.

Situated close to Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and others, the location made for relatively quick access to all of them. We also really enjoyed speeding down the tubing hill at the nearby Frisco adventure park! Be sure to bring some hiking shoes, because you’ll definitely want to explore the trails around Lake Dillon, the nature preserve in Frisco, historic mining areas, and many other great spots around here. The main streets of each town were great places to sight-see and explore too. When we weren’t skiing, tubing, Jacuzzi-ing, or exploring, we made it a point to check out the various local breweries which also serve up some great food. I’ll admit we may have spent more than we intended at the nearby outlet malls in Silverthorne as well.

Valerie was fantastic to work with, and was very warm and hospitable throughout the entire experience. We felt her true hospitality and were very appreciative that they have gone to such great lengths to update the unit and make it so enjoyable. All in all we had an amazing time at this wonderful condo, and we hope to return in the future!
