ABOUT THE HOME

When we purchased this home in 2017 it was completely updated with fresh paint, new flooring, new carpeting, and new updated bathrooms.

Additionally, we furnished the home with all new furniture, bedding, linens, TVs, and the kitchen equipped with new dishes, glassware, cookware, small appliances.

As soon as you enter the home you’ll find yourself in the open living, dining and kitchen area. Beautiful new hardwood floors, granite countertops, lots of cabinet space in the kitchen are just the beginning of the amenities you will find in this home.

Upstairs in the living room you’ll find comfortable seating and a large 40″ HD flat screen TV. The dining table seats eight people. 
 
NOTE: The TV in the upstairs living room is equipped with Roku streaming capabilities. You can either sign into your own premium streaming services using the apps on the TV (such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video) or stream content from your mobile devices.

Located on the main floor is the spacious master bedroom. Quality linens and bedding grace the king-sized bed. There is a walk-in closet and a beautifully done en suite bathroom. The large vanity offers two sinks with granite countertops for your convenience. 

Across the hall is bedroom #2 which has another king-sized bed. This bedroom shares the bathroom on this floor with the master bedroom.

Downstairs are two more bedrooms and another full-sized bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized bed; the other bedroom has two twin sized beds.

There is a large family room (or “rec room”) downstairs equipped with a 55″ HD flat-screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. Your group will enjoy relaxing and hanging out in this spacious “Liberty University” themed room.

NOTE: The TV in this room is equipped with a basic cable package. If you want to watch premium channels or services such as Netflix or Prime Video you will have to stream them using your mobile device.

A full-sized washer & dryer are located on the downstairs level.

This home offers 2 outdoor spaces. Just off the kitchen you’ll find a spacious screened porch, equipped with a table & benches for outdoor dining. Enjoy a meal al fresco at the picnic table or a cup of coffee or glass of wine while relaxing on this charming porch. On the ground level in the shade of the upper deck is an inviting hammock where you can relax in the quiet atmosphere of this pastoral setting.

NOTE: The downstairs apartment does not have access to the kitchen or the screened porch which are located upstairs. However there is a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the downstairs apartment and a nice patio on the ground level out back with a nice old-fashioned porch swing.

YOUR HEALTH IS OUR CONCERN

Our home is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Our housekeeping service uses CDC approved antibacterial cleansing agents and focuses on frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, deadbolts, remote controls, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.

Additionally our home has been equipped with a REME HALO® whole home in-duct air purifier, which according to the manufacturer “is the next generation of indoor air quality (IAQ) technology and capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that your central air conditioning system reaches. Thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria & viruses, such as MRSA, e-coli, and Norwalk, to name a few.”

HOUSE RULES:

We would welcome your reservation if:

•You are over the age of 25 years & are willing to provide a copy of your valid ID

•You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed

•You are not a smoker

•You do not want to bring a pet

•Your party does not consist of more than 8 people

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation Fee (charged for every cancellation): $100.00 + tax

– Up to 60 days before arrival, guest receives 100% (less the taxable cancellation fee);

– Up to 30 days before arrival, guest receives 50% (less the taxable cancellation fee);

– No refunds within 30 days.
